Prices are quoted after we know the length, the number of functions and the design direction. Nothing is charged before you agree the number.
The variables
Six things that move the number
Length
A fifteen-second save-the-date and a ninety-second invitation film are different amounts of design, not just different export lengths.
Number of functions
Each function needs its own typesetting and often its own colour shift. Four functions is closer to four small projects than one.
Animation depth
Typography that moves is quick. Custom illustration, particle work and 3D elements take substantially longer.
Photo work
Cutting subjects out of backgrounds, retouching and matching your photos to the palette is manual work that adds hours.
Extra languages
A second or third language means re-typesetting and re-proofing every line, not translating a subtitle track.
Urgency
If you need it faster than our normal 48-hour first draft, that means reordering other couples' work. We charge for that honestly.

About money
Why not just publish a fixed price list?
Because two invitations described with the same words can be very different amounts of work. A ten-second typographic save-the-date and a ninety-second animated film with four functions and photo compositing are not the same job.
We would rather tell you the actual number for your actual invite than advertise a low figure and add to it later.
What makes a quote go up?
Length, the number of functions covered, how much custom illustration or animation the direction needs, photo compositing, and urgency if you need it faster than the normal 48-hour first draft.
Additional languages in the same invite add a little, because every line has to be typeset and proofed again.
Is there an advance payment?
Yes — we start work on a part payment and you settle the rest before final delivery. We will tell you the split when we quote.

Do you charge extra for the vertical version?
No. A vertical cut for Status and Reels is part of the project, not an upsell.
What does cost extra is a genuinely different edit — for example a separate thirty-second social teaser with its own script rather than a re-frame of the invite.
How do you compare with template apps?
Template platforms are considerably cheaper and much faster, because your names are being placed into a design that already exists. If that is what you want, they are a sensible choice and we will say so.
What we sell is a design made for one wedding. That takes longer and costs more. Which of those is right depends on your budget and how much the invite matters to you.
